Elk Lodge 244, Bangor |
Back in the USA for our Independence
Day. Uneventful border crossing, then south to the Elks Club in Bangor. Trips
to Hannaford (grocery) and Walmart stocked up our fridge and gained me a new
book, My Grandmother Told Me to
Tell You She’s Sorry (same author as A
Man Called Ove, which I loved). Reliable Internet for the first time in
days, so I worked on getting this blog caught up. In the evening we watched NYC’s
July 4th festivities. Our daughter Lisha is in NY now with our oldest
granddaughter. Lisha was posting video as we watched, which was fun. Back in
Kirkland, several of our other kids/grandkids were gathered at our house for a
BBQ. We’re scattered, but still family.

Another lovely sunset through my "office" window. |
No BlogThoughts tonight, but I'll share another couple photos from Peggy's Cove...
