And on the 7th day...

Saturday, Jan 7…
Finally, Greg can relax.
Last day in San Dimas. We’d recommend this park to anyone, especially the lakeview/ sunset sites! (I’m overlooking the lake from a picnic table as I type.) Today Greg returned the refurbished pins and newly twisted wires to their casings and spliced it all back into the wiring harness (thereby avoiding a $2300+ labor installation charge for a new harness). He was also able to reconnect the Banks System (a pricey add-on that gives him lots of engine stats as he drives but was unusable while the wiring system was impaired). For the moment, we are 100% functional.
I spent the morning in the laundry room (well-appointed and reasonably priced) and finally finding a proper place for almost everything we’ve chosen (wisely or not) to bring with us. I also did a lot of walking, checking license plates (31 states so far – I’ve been a plate spotter ever since my first trip to the Jersey shore back in the 50s) and now RV models. I just started noticing those today and garnered 54 walking only 2 loops of the park. It’s interesting to see how overtly ‘male’ many of these are: Commander, Intruder, Sabre, Conquest, Vengeance.

  1. Oh, the road games we played as kids. I suppose after a year they'd get old - but I don't know. How many games of verbal hangman have you played so far?
