Chores & Chops

Tuesday, August 15…

Chores: Three loads of laundry at the best laundromat yet. How so?  1. I could use quarters, which I’ve been hoarding.  2. In addition to the fancy double/triple/gazillion-load size washers, there were some basic white machines that work just fine for just $2.  3. The dryers were speedy.  4. Free, fresh coffee. (Not something I personally care about, but thoughtful.)  5. An ironing alcove!

While I was being domestic, Greg was diagnosing the severity of a rusted elbow on the M3 (our tow) and addressing other issues of general maintenance. He also found camping spots for the next few days and secured reservations for Yellowstone (which closes Sept 17). Good thing we checked!

Rib lamb chops for dinner – delish! Afterwards we took a last walk around the park (well, a bit of it), and I took some sunset pics.

Marshland, with fish. Busy place on Saturday.

Contemplation Bench

(I took a similar photo on Mustang Island, Texas.)
Mother Nature is a great artist.

  1. Wow, those are beautiful pictures. That looks like a lovely place to stay. I love the contemplation bench - it looks just so. 😊 That no swimming sign cracks me up - that person looks to me to be drowning (albeit with a smile on their face.)
You and Greg are so cute. I'll bet this has been such a great bonding trip for the two of you. I love to read about your interactions and comments of each other. 😊
