Monday, April 10…
Slow day. Slept
late. Errands and housekeeping. Trying to keep my FitBit happy, I had Greg drop
me at the park entrance when we returned from shopping. I enjoyed the walk, but
wished I’d remembered to apply NoNatz, our new natural bug repellent (rosemary,
lemongrass, coconut & lavender oils infused in distilled water &
alcohol). Smells good. In the evening Greg & I wandered down to the dock
(we camp on a lot of lakes). Greg tried
one of his Cuban cigars and seemed pleased.

BlogThoughts... This part of the country is known as the low country (as in, virtually no elevation - sometimes the road is actually lower than the water line). Maryland's Eastern Shore, where I was raised, is very similar. All these creeks and backwaters are familiar, but sometimes I still marvel at just how much water surrounds us.

Water, water everywhere... and the really little creeks don't even show up! |
