Lazy Day

Monday, April 10…

Slow day. Slept late. Errands and housekeeping. Trying to keep my FitBit happy, I had Greg drop me at the park entrance when we returned from shopping. I enjoyed the walk, but wished I’d remembered to apply NoNatz, our new natural bug repellent (rosemary, lemongrass, coconut & lavender oils infused in distilled water & alcohol). Smells good. In the evening Greg & I wandered down to the dock (we camp on  a lot of lakes). Greg tried one of his Cuban cigars and seemed pleased.

Night closes in.
BlogThoughts... This part of the country is known as the low country (as in, virtually no elevation - sometimes the road is actually lower than the water line). Maryland's Eastern Shore, where I was raised, is very similar. All these creeks and backwaters are familiar, but sometimes I still marvel at just how much water surrounds us.

Water, water everywhere... and the really little creeks don't even show up!
