Cousin Mike & his wife Beth took us to the Coastal Maine
Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. Though much smaller than Longwood (PA) or
Butchart, they are indeed lovely and innovative. The children’s area includes Blueberries for Sal sculptures
(including a pail and dozens of bronze blueberries on the ground), spouting
“whales” (smooth boulders), and several interactive activities during the day.
I focused most of my photography on color, which I’ll share as a (primitive) quilt.

(So much for computer quilting. I don't have time to fuss with these anymore. Just imagine a properly aligned 3x4 patch design.)
